THE MAYDAY PROJECT
Here is my contribution to the Mayday project - pictures chronicling an avergae day in the life. I used my Fujifilm FinePix 4900 digital camera, which has served me very well over the last two years (China, Hong Long, Singapore, Iceland, Italy, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, France and East London). All the pictures were 1280 x 960 pixels, fine resultion. I have stepped them down to 640 x 480, 300 pixels per inch using Windows Photo Editor. Of the 41 pictures I took on the day, I have selected 14 of the best. I cheated a bit by including 3 pictures from the same hour (my trip to the supermarket). Only one of the pictures has been manipulated - a slight brightness/contrast balance.Click on each picture for a larger version and commentary.
